Therapeutic Massage Built for Recovery, Relief & Reconnection

Massage at The LAB is treatment, not just relaxation. Our registered massage therapists (RMTs) work with athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking to feel better in their body, whether that means easing tightness, managing pain, or supporting recovery after training or injury.

Each session is tailored to your needs in the moment: focused, effective, and rooted in clinical understanding. We don’t do fluff. We do meaningful work that helps you move and live more comfortably.

Why Massage at The LAB Feels Different

Our massage therapists are part of your care team, not an add-on. They communicate with your physiotherapist, chiropractor, or osteopath when needed, so your treatment supports the bigger picture of your recovery or performance goals.

You’ll get a calm, professional environment where your therapist listens closely and works intentionally. Expect a mix of deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, and active release, all delivered with a focus on improving how you feel and function.

We also use best-in-class massage tables designed for both comfort and technique, because quality treatment starts with a quality setup.

What Massage Therapy Can Support

Massage therapy is a powerful tool, whether you’re managing injury, stress, or everyday tension. Our RMTs commonly support clients with:

  • Muscle recovery from training or competition
  • Repetitive strain and postural tension
  • Chronic tightness or mobility restrictions
  • Headaches and jaw tension
  • Prenatal or postpartum care
  • Stress, fatigue, and sleep issues
  • Scar tissue or fascial adhesions
  • Support alongside physio or chiro rehab

Not sure if massage is the right fit for your concern? We’ll help you figure that out.

A Recovery Session That Meets You Where You’re At

At The LAB, we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to anything, including massage. We tailor each session based on your activity level, pain points, and goals for the day.

Some clients come in needing deep, focused work after a tough week of training. Others are here to decompress from stress and tension. Whatever brings you in, our team is here to support your recovery, not rush it.

I’ve been exposed to and seen a lot of chiros throughout my time as a professional athlete. I can honestly say that the team at The Lab is not only the best in the biz when it comes to knowledge and treatment, but who they are as people and the relationships they build with their clients is unmatched. They’ve been a game changer

Dr. Gomes and the team at the Lab was instrumental in getting my body right in the offseason. His knowledge and treatment style set him apart. Would highly recommend to any athlete.

Riley Dane

(Registered Massage Therapist)

RMT, Hons. BA Kin

I started out in this field because I was inspired by the care and sports rehab that I received when I was an athlete. From competitive gymnastics to soccer to varsity track and field, I’ve been in and out of my fair share of clinics!

I have a passion for helping people return to doing what they love. Whether that be sports, recreational activity, or returning to a pain-free everyday life. I want to work as a team with each individual to create a treatment that fits their mental and physical needs. I believe that exercise and activity is an essential component of wellbeing and want my clients to be able to engage in these activities without compromise.

Education-wise I went to Western (GO STANGS!) for my undergrad, earning a Honours Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Kinesiology and followed that with a Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan.

In my spare time, I like to lift weights, read, play volleyball and spend time with family. I’m a huge sports fan, especially the Leafs, Raps and Jays!
