Sports Chiropractic for Injury Recovery & Peak Performance

At The LAB, our sports chiropractic care is tailored specifically for athletes and active individuals, whether you’re coming off an injury, pushing through the demands of training, or looking to fine-tune your movement mechanics. We go beyond the traditional chiropractic model by focusing on biomechanics, sport-specific demands, and long-term performance.

Our chiropractors work closely with everyone from professional athletes to weekend warriors and youth competitors. Each session is personalized to help you move better, recover faster, and return to sport stronger than before. Whether you’re managing back pain, a lingering shoulder issue, or mobility challenges that limit your game, our team combines manual therapy, movement correction, and rehabilitation strategies rooted in sports science.

What Makes Our Chiropractic Care Different

Our chiropractic approach is built on science, movement, and meaningful outcomes. You won’t find generic adjustments or one-size-fits-all care here.
Instead, expect longer one-on-one sessions with skilled practitioners who treat the whole athlete, not just the symptom.

We integrate soft tissue work, mobility restoration, and advanced rehab strategies into every plan. Whether you’re seeking pain relief or aiming to improve how you move and compete, our chiropractic care meets you where you’re at, and takes you where you want to go.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation with a Performance Edge

Recovering from surgery doesn’t mean hitting pause on your athletic identity. At The LAB, our chiropractors are trained in advanced post-operative rehab protocols that support athletes at every phase of recovery.

We specialize in rehabilitation following procedures such as ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, shoulder labrum surgery, FAI corrections, and tendon repairs. We coordinate with surgeons and sport physicians to build out custom recovery plans that include strength metrics, mobility goals, and progress tracking.

From your first session post-op to the moment you return to your sport, our team ensures you’re progressing with purpose, not guesswork.

Trusted by Athletes at Every Level

Our chiropractors have worked with elite athletes from the NFL, NHL, CFL, MLS, and MLB, as well as NCAA, U Sports, and national-level performers. But we’re just as committed to the youth athletes, development academies, and dedicated recreational players who rely on their bodies every day.

We understand the physical, mental, and emotional investment athletes bring to their sport and we match that with expertise, precision, and care.

I’ve been exposed to and seen a lot of chiros throughout my time as a professional athlete. I can honestly say that the team at The Lab is not only the best in the biz when it comes to knowledge and treatment, but who they are as people and the relationships they build with their clients is unmatched. They’ve been a game changer

Dr. Gomes and the team at the Lab was instrumental in getting my body right in the offseason. His knowledge and treatment style set him apart. Would highly recommend to any athlete.

Riley Dane

(Registered Massage Therapist)

RMT, Hons. BA Kin

I started out in this field because I was inspired by the care and sports rehab that I received when I was an athlete. From competitive gymnastics to soccer to varsity track and field, I’ve been in and out of my fair share of clinics!

I have a passion for helping people return to doing what they love. Whether that be sports, recreational activity, or returning to a pain-free everyday life. I want to work as a team with each individual to create a treatment that fits their mental and physical needs. I believe that exercise and activity is an essential component of wellbeing and want my clients to be able to engage in these activities without compromise.

Education-wise I went to Western (GO STANGS!) for my undergrad, earning a Honours Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Kinesiology and followed that with a Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan.

In my spare time, I like to lift weights, read, play volleyball and spend time with family. I’m a huge sports fan, especially the Leafs, Raps and Jays!
